This film is an expertly crafted production with great music, costumes, scenery, and cinematography. The classic Christmas story has built-in meanness by the Grinch counterbalanced by Cindy Lou Who, a girl who has her own doubts about Christmas. The sets and costumes are outstanding, and the Grinch is funny and scary all at once. Ultimately, it delivers a little magic that places it right in with other holiday favorites. It does contain some crude humor that some viewers might not appreciate. KIDS FIRST!® Child Juror Comments: Some kid viewers laughed, booed and cheered: “It was funny and creative.” Others’ responses were more tepid: “It’s like big time fiction.
