Bluray Player for your Car
Looking for an in-car Blu-ray Player? Right now your options are very limited, Besides having a Blu-ray capable Playstation3 (PS3) in your Prius, Malibu, Accord, Passat, Altima or whatever else you may drive, you have very limited options.
Panasonic has announced that it will be releasing a Blu-ray Player specifically for use in cars but it is not being sold as yet. According to Telematics Research Group there are 1.5 million vehicles sold per year In the United States with rear-seat entertainment (RSE) systems with a further 1.2 million RSE systems installed on non-new vehicles. Most of the RSE systems are DVD Players often from major consumer electronic makers (e.g. Sony, JVC, Philips, Samsung, LG etc.).
There is a big market out there for in-car Blu-ray players. Hopefully it is not too long before the car companies and electronics companies realise the enormous potential.
